PTE Regulation The NZ Herald reported yesterday on Grant Robertson’s (Labour) support for Steven Joyce’s PTE regulation changes – although Grant put in a few caveats, as one would expect (Grant’s media release). Andrew Laxon at the NZ Herald has apparently been ringing around a lot of people up in Auckland about dodgy providers and 3 stories were put up on Saturday. The main story is that Massey identified 50 students with (I assume) the NZ Diploma of Business who had very poor English and no hope of finishing a business degree.
