David Choat

David Choat is an Education Strategist for Education Directions.  All of his tertiary education work is through Education Directions, while he pursues other interests in politics and policy primarily through Policy Progress. Some of David’s previous projects are listed below.

  • Politics – ten years’ experience in the Parliamentary environment, including Advisor in the Office of the Tertiary Education Minister (2000-2004) and a year in the Prime Minister’s Office.

  • Government – consultancy work on tertiary education, skills and research issues for TEC, DOL, MOE and MORST.
