I think the case for ACE (PWC report to one side) relies on community buy-in (it has been huge in CHCH) which is more likely to be turned off by the vid than turned on. I'd be interested to hear what others think the likely result of the vid is. Oh, and the other one IS good. Especially the ending. My view is that the video is a bit funny but a lot stupid Bronwyn. I think suggesting someone is dim is personal. The rest of the PPTA's www.dimming.co.nz site is pretty focused on the policy issues, but the video isn't. The PPTA made a tactical call about the video's tone and it's getting lots of coverage and I'm sure its driving people to the site, but it's still personal. Tolley has cut ACE funding (and watch for the second cut promised for this year - $80 million from tertiary - don't think you'll be cheering that on quite so much somehow) and is answerable for it. Nothing to do with being personal. I suspect you are patronising her because she's a woman. Pity you can't find a little sympathy for the large number of women who have lost their jobs as a result of the cuts and the ordinary people who can't afford to upskill.
